Here's The Format
1. Greet Your Students
At the beginning of each lesson, greet your students to make them feel welcome and remind them where they're up to in the course.
2. Outline The Promise
Outline the promise of the lesson and let your students know how they will be transformed as a result of taking the lesson.
3. Why Now?
Tell your students what's changing in the world and why it's important they pay attention to this information right now.
4. Teach The Lesson
Teach the teaching points of your lesson. Make each lesson about one specific topic and have 3-7 key points in each lesson.
Simply list the key teaching points from the lesson as a way of recapping what your students have learned.
5. Answer any Objections
Your students will have "what if..." questions come up during your lesson. Your job as a teacher is to cover these objections.
8. Action Steps and Homework
Prescribe any action steps and homework to your students. Most people learn by doing, so it's important they take action!
6. Consequences of Inaction
Explain the consequences of inaction to your students to encourage them to actually do something with this new information.
